Seven saunas, eight pools, nine treatment rooms and numerous relaxation zones: In the modern Lindenhof Lifestyle DolceVita Resort, which is surrounded by a park-like garden and vineyards, every guest will for sure find its favourite place to relax. The wellness area covers a total of 5,000 square metres, divided into Adults Only and Family Spa. The highlights for adults are the sky sauna and the swinging loungers on the top floor with a magnificent panoramic view of the mountain landscape. The spa menu ranges from relaxing treatments to those that loosen muscles after sporting activities. The heated Wavebalance lounger, on which various treatments are performed, is particularly popular. Pieces of art decorate the entrance area, from which the name ArtSpa is derived.
Sauna next level
Even though guests appreciate the sauna as a place of tranquillity, at the Lindenhof resort they can experience another very special, further indulgence. A new generation of sauna masters brings engery into the sweat rooms by the art of acting. There are even championships between sauna masters. First and foremost is Claudio Massa, who can call himself the world sauna infusion champion and works in the hotel. A show sauna infusion lasts about 15 minutes and imitates a story, for example such as the story of Batman. Massa enters the sauna stage in several costumes, of couse including a bat, and leads through the sauna infusion accompanied by suitable music. Other sound and lighting effects as well as props and film clips shown on a projector in the sauna are also part of the show. All in all, the world champion Massa has around ten performances in his repertoire, ranging from funny to romantic to exciting.
Fit with fun
Those who prefer to work out are also in the right place at Lindenhof resort. In the Fit & Fun House there are high-quality equipped yoga and fitness rooms and the trainers invite to a varied activity programme with bodystyling, circuit training, Pilates, aqua fitness or Nordic walking on a daily basis. In addition, various theme weeks are held around the year. Participants get particularly close to their hosts: while hotelier Joachim Nischler accompanies the cycling weeks, his daughter Chiara is part of the running weeks. The weeks with pur-life founder Manuel Eckardt, which take place several times a year, focus on health. Eckardt mainly uses the Bellicon mini-trampoline for the exercise sessions. Around the hotel, guests find well-developed hiking and cycling trails in the Vinschgau Valley, which leads into alpine terrain and thus offers tours for every level. Naturno and the immediate surroundings attract culture enthusiasts with several museums, castles, monasteries, Gothic churches and a marble factory. Moreover, Merano is only twelve kilometers away and can also easily be reached for a day excursion.
Indulgence in South Tyrolean style
The cuisine of the Lindenhof Lifestyle DolceVita Resort uses only the best regional and seasonal ingredients. After a rich breakfast buffet and an extensive afternoon snack with pasta dishes, antipasti, salad and cake buffet, a five-course à la carte menu is offered in the evening. The dishes are always creative and yet deeply rooted in South Tyrol. Pasta, for example, is freshly prepared in the restaurant’s own manufactory. In addition, wine has always played a major role at the Lindenhof resort. The wine menu includes more than 500 types and about 70 per cent of which are regional. Guests can try different wines during regular tastings. Guided walking tours and excursions to the winegrowers take place during the annual wine weeks in November. Furtermore whisky lovers are also in heaven at the Lindenhof resort. They can choose from 222 varieties, including Scotch, Canadian, Irish and Bourbon whisky.
