Their task: To build a new tepee, financed by the Regine Sixt Children’s Aid Foundation, together with a team of helpers from the school youth hostel – at 35 °C in the shade. No problem! The team wasn’t afraid to take risks when arranging the 10-meter-high poles, resorting to techniques used for erecting maypoles to master the challenge. In the end, the results were something they could be proud of. Now the children at the Wartaweil school youth hostel have a perfect location to enjoy roasted marshmallows around the bonfire.
