Here we show you an overview of selected possible ski tours:

LECHTALER SKITOURENTAGE JANUAR 2023 BILD 1 Aples Pleisspitze

Aples-Pleisspitze

The “Aples-Pleisspitze” offers one of the most beautiful southern descents of the Kaisertal. That is why it is one of the most frequently climbed tours in the Lechtal Alps, along with the Feuer-Spitze.

From the summit you have a very good view of the ascent to the Feuer-Spitze and the transition from the Kälberlahnzug via the Lahnzugjöchl to the Fallenbacher Joch (ascent possibility to the Holzgauer Wetterspitze).

Bernhardseck – Auf der Mutte

The ascent to the “Mutte over the Bernhardseck” runs along a long, relatively flat ridge and is one of the easy tours in the Lechtal. From the summit you have a spectacular view of the central part of the Lechtal Alps. On the descent, a stop at the Bernhardseck Hut, which is open in winter, is (almost) obligatory.

Bortigscharte & Bschlaber Kreuzspitze

The “Bortigscharte” is a nice south-facing tour destination for a half-day tour. From the saddle you have an impressive view of the mighty flanks of the Kreuzspitzen, which are certainly among the wildest and most impressive in the Lechtal Alps.

Grießtaler Spitze

The “Grießtaler Spitze” can be reached directly from Kaisers. The summit slope is very steep, but skiable for good skiers. From the ridge above the Ober Grießtal, you can also climb the very steep Rotschrofen peak (2588 m). If you only feel like a short excursion, you can visit the Hahnleskopf (2210 m), which is relatively easy to reach.

LECHTALER SKITOURENTAGE JANUAR 2023 BILD 5 Grosser Wilderer

Großer Wilderer

The summit of the “Großer Wilderer” is reached through the Jochbach valley. Caution is advised, especially in the steep step from the valley floor to the extensive southeast-facing slopes. The rest of the way to the summit has no more difficulties worth mentioning. The Hintere Wilde can also be easily climbed with skis from the summit slope. Both destinations offer fantastic descents with their undulating terrain. An early start is advisable in any case.

LECHTALER SKITOURENTAGE JANUAR 2023 BILD 6 Horlemannskopf

Horlemannskopf

At Steeg there is a striking change in the landscape of the Lech Valley. The wide valley floors disappear and are replaced by the deeply cut, gently meandering Lech gorges. The striking north-eastern ridge of the “Horlemannkopf” descends into one of the first valley arches. From here you have a magnificent view of the Lech Valley as far as the area around Elmen.

You can find the complete overview of the tours here.

Editor’s Tip:
