The new generation of bikers and content creators: BAESSY, real name Ramon, is a well-known personality in the world of two-wheelers and on social media, characterised by his unmistakable style. His enthusiasm for motorbikes began early on: as a child, he was inspired by his father, who introduced him to this hobby. At the age of 15, he experienced his first rides on a Simson S53, which laid the foundation for his passion.

The path to owning her first motorbike took a lot of commitment. Alongside school and studies, he saved diligently to get his car and motorbike driving licence in 2019 and realise his dream of owning his own bike. BAESSY’s first motorbike was a KTM SMC from 2008 – a decision that was influenced by motocross videos and his enthusiasm for supermoto. The first few years were characterised by learning: tours, new routes and the first contacts in the biker scene. This was followed in 2021 by the promotion to an A licence, de-throttling and a comprehensive rebuild of the motorbike with the active support of a friend.

“I have had a passion for two-wheelers sinceI discovered this hobby 5 years ago – inspired by my father, who often gave me a lift and got me excited about it. In 2014, I sat on a motorised two-wheeler for the first time, a Simson S53. As is traditional here in the East, I got my moped licence when I was 15 – and that was the start of my own journey on two wheels.”

The fascination of motorcycling
Motorcycling stands for freedom, adventure and community. Speed, winding roads and the connection to nature create an incomparable feeling that is complemented by the special biker community. In this scene, people meet with respect and mutual support, regardless of origin or experience. But despite all the enthusiasm, the danger side must not be underestimated; he himself has already had to bury a mate. Safety is the top priority, because every member of the biking family is a son, daughter, parent or grandparent who is expected to return. Respect for the risks of this hobby is a central part of his philosophy. Unforgettable experiences and networking
One of the most memorable moments was the 2020 season opening in Leipzig, where almost 200 motorbikes took to the road together – an impressive experience. Over the years, numerous acquaintances have been made that have built up a strong network in Germany and beyond. This network demonstrates the strength of the biker community.

“For me, riding a motorbike means freedom – speed, a good song and winding roads. Anyone who rides knows that there’s nothing better. Then there’s the great biker family: no matter who you meet, you’re on an equal footing and are immediately integrated. I felt that especially after I moved to Leipzig – it really is one big #bikerfam.”

Social media and photography
The passion for photography began in 2019 with the purchase of a first camera. With constant improvements in image processing and technology, this developed into a professional focus. The move into the world of social media was met with growing success.
The growing number of followers – now almost 70,000 – is the result of commitment, creativity and close ties to the community. Co-operations with companies and positive feedback have further promoted the development. The combination of photography, motorbike passion and social media creates a platform that inspires others and strengthens the biker scene.
